Hurricane Marie 2.0 at the Wedge

A crowd of hundreds of people gathered at the Wedge on Sunday, September 6th in the offbeat Summer rain. I’ve been photographing a lot of surfing this year, but this was my first time photographing an event where everyone around me was also documenting. It was kinda beautiful seeing the community come together to witness this grand display of mother nature and those who put themselves at it’s mercy.
